It is with great pleasure that the Human Rights Centre of the University of Padova announces the launch of the International Joint-Ph.D Degree in Human Rights, Society and Multi-level Governance. It is a three-year, interdisciplinary, joint academic programme involving the Universities of Western Sydney, Zagreb University - Faculty of Law, Panteion - Athens, and Padova (coordinating institution). Ph.D candidates who successfully complete their research project are awarded a single diploma conferred by all the partners.
This new Ph.D Degree aims at forming researchers with a multi/interdisciplinary profile. It includes teaching, research and training in the area of human rights studies, covering the various legal, political, social, philosophical and economic approaches and methodologies, with global geographic scope.

The call for applications is now open.

There are 4 Ph.D positions available, 3 of them provided with a scholarship. An additional position, also endowed with a scholarship, will be soon made available by the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb.

The deadline for applications is 14th October 2015.

The candidate selection is based on the research project (up to 60 points) and cv (up to 40 points). The date of the interview of shortlisted candidates is on 23rd October 2015 (candidates are invited to discuss their research project).
