alma-logoAlma Graduate School / University of Bologna (Italia) is introducing a new MBA major, focused on business relations between Brazil and Europe. This project is embedded in a wider cooperation framework between the University of Bologna and the Brazilian Embassy in Italy, to promote and support new partnership projects between Brazil and Italy. In spite of the economic crisis, the Brazilian economy is significantly developing mainly because of to the expansion of the internal market. At the same time, Brazil's international economic relations are increasing and Brazil has recently become a strategic partner of the European Union.
Despite Brazil's global importance there is still a lack of information on the following two aspects:

* the true reasons behind its economic development and the success of its companies;
* the market and partnership opportunities for European companies in Brazil.

European as well as Brazilian companies and institutions can highly benefit from the improved reciprocal awareness. Consequently, this may boost their growth as well as help promote public policies of economic and social regulation and development.

The MBA aims at:

* promoting networking and the development of reciprocal awareness between European and Brazilians companies, institutions and economic agents;
* promoting new relations between two historically linked countries in the wider frame of business relations between Brazil and Europe;
* supporting Italian and European companies in Brazil and vice-versa. This goal will be pursued through the training of a new generation of managers who will have a deeper knowledge of the economic, regulatory and cultural context of the countries involved;
* creating a centre of managerial excellence, which will acknowledge and enhance the typical traits of the Latin culture which will stand as a reference point for the companies involved in the project;
* creating more synergic opportunities at all levels (economics, culture, etc.) between Brazilian and European companies;
* strengthening and boosting the integration between companies and institutions operating in the countries involved. As a result, this will help them to contribute to the development of local economies in the best way possible;
* identifying new areas of cooperation between Brazil and European countries.

For who:

* Professionals or Junior Managers with at least 3 years of working experience after graduation of any nationality, who are interested in working with companies having business relations with Brazil.
* Brazilian or European companies interested in developing their talents
* Entrepreneurs willing to develop a deeper understanding of the Brazilian market in order to better identify business opportunities.
* Officials of economic institutions (chambers of commerce, consortiums and other bodies) who need to understand issues related to Brazil-Europe relations.
* Government officials willing to broaden their knowledge and to pursue a career in international environments.
