A Universidade do Vale do Paraíba (Univap) realizará, entre os dias 4 e 7 de outubro, o 1º Brazilian Simposium about the Effects of Increased UV Radiation on Agriculture (UVRAC), em São José dos Campos (SP). Compartilhar resultados de novas pesquisas e discutir impactos da radiação UV-B em sistemas agrícolas são objetivos do evento. “Does UV radiation drive methane emissions from plant foliage?”, “The effects of sunlight irradiation on loss of hydrophobicity induced in soils by natural fire and the impact on the soil microbial population”, “Photo-elicitation of bioactive secondary metabolite accumulation in plants by UV-B radiation”, “Global change and the effects of solar UV radiation on terrestrial ecosystems”, “Sensitivity of wheat to UV-B radiation throughout the crop cycle” são algumas das palestras previstas no evento.

O simpósio será realizado no campus da Univap, localizado na Av. Shishima Hifumi, 2.911, Urbanova, em São José dos Campos (SP).
